This August in the First Congressional District of Kansas we have an obligation to elect someone to represent our interests in Washington, D.C. From talking to others we don’t want career politicians. In fact, a survey done by USA today stated 2-1 that most people want someone without experience. We have lost our confidence in those representing us in Washington because they have failed to follow the Constitution. We need someone from the First District that knows the Constitution, has experience in business, agriculture and education. Let us look at the candidates. I would combine Barnett and Huleskamp as those two have been in the Kansas Senate for some time and to my knowledge have not shown leadership in solving the problem of funding education. In fact, they have been in the Kansas Senate and look at the shape of the states financines. Do we want people like this representing us in Washington? We already have do nothings in Washington. So how would either one of them solve the Nation’s overburdening problems? They both have stated in public forums they are for term limits. Who are they kidding? Barnett has been in the Kansas Senate for six years and Huleskamp for 14 years. Neither one of them has stated what term limits they support. We don’t need them.
Let’s look at Rob “Hillary” Wasinger. Born in Kansas yes, but where has he been these many years? In Washington, D.C. as a lobbyist. He only moved back to Kansas because he thought he was a shoe in for the congressman position. He said he is a native western Kansan, but he couldn’t even buy a home in western Kansas what does that say about him?
We want someone in Washington with good ethics. I can’t say that applies to Tracey Mann. In a mailing I received he stated that he was the only small business owner and non-politician running. Whoa, that isn’t true and he knows it. If he cannot campaign honestly how would he represent us honestly? Cobb is a nice man who has served his country, but nice guys finish last. Then there is
It is critical that we elect someone who is our representative and will listen. Money can buy a lot of things and in my years on this earth money has bought almost every elected office. Isn’t it time we elect someone who is not flush with cash from special interests, but is willing to sacrifice to give their all to represent us fairly and honestly. That person is Sue Boldra. She is a person who the media has ignored, why? Because she is woman or because she isn’t well funded, but is ready to go to Washington and try to make sure Washington follows the Constitution. You see she taught government classed for over 25 years, she raised four children, she and her husband ran a sporting goods store, and she still over sees the operation of the family farms in McPherson , County. Oh, she has never held a political office either, but I would bet my life that she is the best candidate for the First Congressional District. I hope you will vote on August 3rd for Sue Bolder for Congresswoman, you will not be disappointed!
