I met with the Pratt County Republican vice-chair Wanda Kanold who was very gracious and helpful. I set up a “meet and greet” at Simply Southwest, 213 S. Main, for June 28th from 2:00 – 4:00, with cookies and coffee provided. I also visited with Mr. Gale Rose of The Pratt Tribune. Watch for his article to be published soon.
I continued on to Medicine Lodge. From the Gun Room at the renovated The Grand Hotel, to the signing of Peace Treaties, the haunts of famous Indian Chiefs as Satanta, Little Raven, and Black Kettle, the home of temperance leader Carrie A. Nation, the Stockade Museum, to the beautiful Gyp Hills where 80,000 head of cattle, known as the Comanche Cattle Pool, roamed over two million acres of land, this is a veritable treasure trove for history buffs. I will be hosting a “meet and greet” at The People’s Bank, 117 S. Main, from 8:30 – 10:30 on June 28th. Donuts and coffee will be provided.
My last stop was in Coldwater, where I met with Dave of Dave’s Pizza Oven to set up a “meet and greet” for 6:30 on June 28th.
I hope that if you are in the area on June 28th , you will come out to visit with me and gain information to enable informed voting on Aug. 3 . You will have many choices in the primary election; make certain you understand the differences among the candidates and vote for the candidate that most reflects your own values and preferences.
